Reservations and Planning

It’s super easy! Just follow these steps to start enjoying the XUQ experience :

  1. Explore our collection: Head to the home menu to discover our two Cave Resorts : the mystical XUQ LOMAS DE RUVIRA and the immersive XUQ AL-AXARA . If you’re traveling in a group, don’t miss our popular villa, THE HAMLET .
  2. Check the calendar: Within your chosen stay, you’ll see an assigned calendar. Select your dates, and our engine will instantly show you availability and pricing.
  3. Choose your plan:
    • Refundable Rate: For those seeking total flexibility.
    • Non-Refundable Rate: The ideal option if you are looking for the best price.
  4. Book and confirm: Click on “Book Now,” fill in your details, and select your payment method. That’s it! You’ll receive a confirmation email immediately.

Absolutely! Due to the high demand for our stays (especially if you’re looking for a weekend getaway), we recommend booking at least two months in advance . Our suites are unique and go fast, so if you’ve already fallen in love with one, make sure it’s yours before anyone else!

 

At XUQ we don’t have a cancellation policy, but we offer two options so you can choose the one that best suits your plan:

  • Standard Rate (Maximum Flexibility):
    • Convenient payment: You pay 50% when booking and the remaining 50% upon arrival at reception.
    • Change of plans: If something comes up, you can change the date of your stay up to 7 days before your arrival (a maximum of one change per booking is allowed).
  • Non-Refundable Rate (Best Price):
    • Savings: You benefit from a more economical price.
    • Commitment: 100% is paid upon booking and no date changes or modifications are allowed under any circumstances.

Note: Reservations cannot be cancelled with either rate. We recommend choosing carefully!

The Experience in our Suites and Villas

Although both options are pure luxury, the main difference lies in the space and extra amenities:

  • Our Suites: Intimate and charming spaces, perfect for an unforgettable getaway.
  • Our Villas: These are our crown jewels . They are characterized by their significantly larger size (we have villas up to 120 m²!). In addition to the extra space, the real highlight is the outdoor area: the villas feature both a private heated jacuzzi and a private swimming pool . If you’re looking for complete spaciousness and a refreshing dip in absolute privacy, a villa is the perfect choice.

Absolutely! Privacy is one of our defining characteristics. All our suites at XUQ LOMAS DE RUVIRA and XUQ AL-AXARA (except for our THA suite ) feature their own private, heated jacuzzi integrated within the room itself. It’s your personal relaxation haven, designed for unhurried enjoyment.

Not all of them, but certainly our most exclusive suites. If you’re looking for a completely private bathroom, our suites with private pools are: KAVERNO, PIACORY, GROTTA, THA, JASKYNE, and BAKO . But don’t worry! Whichever suite you choose, water is always nearby thanks to our communal pools.

Of course! Water is part of the soul of XUQ :

  • At XUQ LOMAS DE RUVIRA: You have access to our Infinity Pool , the Balinese pool, and our natural pool among water lilies. You can also enjoy our Landscape Club , with a private beach area on the banks of the Júcar River.
  • At XUQ AL-AXARA: You have 3 outdoor pools and access to Le Jardin Secret , our most special and wild corner on the riverbank.
  • At THE HAMLET: Exclusivity is total, as you have your own large private pool with a jacuzzi area.

Our private pools are open 365 days a year, although it’s important to know that they are not heated . Thanks to our location in secluded valleys, we enjoy a fantastic microclimate: for most of the year the temperature is ideal for swimming.

Not at all! There’s a myth that caves are cold, but it’s the opposite:

  • Ancient wisdom: These caves were inhabited by Iberians, Romans, and Moors. They knew where to stay!
  • Natural Temperature: Our Cave Resorts are bioclimatic and maintain a temperature of around 18°C ​​all year round .
  • Extra Comfort: However, all suites are fully air-conditioned . The fireplaces (available in some suites such as THA, GUHA, OGOF, GROTTA, NAHR, TARIQ, JABAL, ALMUDAMIR and THE HAMLET ) serve primarily an ambient and decorative function.

Services and Logistics

We’re working on it! We’ll be opening our own restaurant soon. In the meantime:

  • Breakfast included: At our Caves Resorts ( Lomas de Ruvira and Al-Axara ), we serve breakfast directly in your suite.
  • Private kitchens: All suites and villas have a fully equipped private kitchen .
  • Surroundings: We are very close to Alcalá del Júcar , with a wide variety of dining options. 48 hours before your arrival, we will send you an email with our top recommendations.
    • XUQ Lomas de Ruvira and Al-Axara: Check-in from 3:00 PM | Check-out until 11:00 AM.
    • The Hamlet: Check-in from 4:00 PM | Check-out until 11:00 AM.

    We need this time to thoroughly clean and disinfect these large and unique spaces. We want everything to be perfect!

Yes! You have one free parking space per suite . No need to reserve; your vehicle has its place guaranteed.

 
  • Access by car: No problem, you can reach the complexes by road right by door.
  • Public transport: We don’t recommend it, as we are in a natural setting. If you don’t have a car, you can take the train to Albacete city (35 km away) and from there take a taxi or rent a vehicle.
  • Mobile coverage: At Caves Resorts, coverage is primarily provided by Movistar. However, we offer free Wi-Fi in all suites. At The Hamlet , coverage is available with any carrier.

Stays with Children, Pets and Groups

  • XUQ LOMAS DE RUVIRA and XUQ AL-AXARA: These are Adults Only spaces , focused on absolute relaxation.
  • THE HAMLET: This is it! It’s the ideal place to enjoy the essence of XUQ with the youngest members of the family.

Yes, under certain conditions!

  • Where: At XUQ LOMAS DE RUVIRA (only in COVA, MAGARA and BAKO suites ). At XUQ AL-AXARA and THE HAMLET (in all rooms).
  • Conditions: Supplement of €20/night , maximum one pet per stay and maximum weight of 20 kg .
  • Privacy + Connection Option: In Lomas de Ruvira , the OGBA + MAGARA combination shares a large terrace with a pool. In Al-Axara , ALMUDAMIR + EL HAMMAN are connected by a small terrace.
  • Large Group Option: THE HAMLET (up to 8 people).
  • Common Areas: If you book separate suites, remember that our common areas ( Landscape Club, Le Jardin Secret ) are endless and perfect for meeting up.
